National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is a group that offers volunteer opportunities, leadership programs, and esteemed accolades to students who have shown academic excellence throughout high school. Through the National Honor Society, one can expect many methods to give back to the community of Calera through self-service, merit, and volunteerism. To be a part of the National Honor Society is a great honor in its as well, for our goal is to prepare students for whatever future they desire.

To become a full member of the Calera National Honor Society, students must meet certain requirements set forth by the standards and procedures that are integral to any merit-based group. As a result, the Calera Chapter of the National Honor Society mandates a minimum GPA of a 3.5, along with safeguarding your grade point average to be above this requirement whilst in high school.

National Honor Society is reserved for upper classmen. Any potential member can expect to receive an invitation from Mr. Birdsong during the second semester of their sophomore year.
