I started teaching in 2001.  This is my 23rd year to teach.  I love to teach science because it is so cool and interactive.

I worked at Savoy, Texas and Colbert, Oklahoma. I have taught 1^st grade, 3^rd, 4^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade.  My favorite grade level is 2^nd to 4^th grade.  I like the fact that the younger ones still think your younger than you really are.  I like the way they see things through their eyes.  They can be such fun.

I have been married for 37 years to my husband in 1986. I have 2 beautiful daughters and 5 grandchildren. I have a cat named Turbo that likes to nip when he doesn’t get the attention he wants.  I love to garden, sew, paint, and do fun crafts.
